If your input files are not already in text format, you must convert your native documents to text. For example to go from PDF to XLS you must first convert the PDF to text. PDF to text conversion is done with 'Convert Doc'.
Once in text format, there are two main methods to translate files, namely the File Marking method, and the Recipe File method.
