Program Options

There are some options which can effect the overall operation of the program. These options are available from the File\Options menu item.

Automatically Load Image Files Into Viewer

The Image viewer in the right hand side of the user interface will automatically load images as you interact with the program. This could potentially slow you down since file size may and computer speed may not be enough to handle the images efficiently.

If Conversion Fails, Try Using Autodetecting Input File Type

Sometimes image files are not given the proper file extension (*.JPG, *.BMP, *.TIF etc). Enable this option to try to overcome this issue.

Move or Delete Input Files After Processing

DELETE FILES

Do not enable this option unless you are confident you have backed up all critical data. This option will delete the original input files specified after a successful operation has been performed. If both the input and output files are of the same name, no deletion will occur. This can be very helpful when using the scheduler for example. It essentially helps remove redundant processing of files.

MOVE FILES

This option will move the input files to a specified folder after processing them. This can be very helpful when using the scheduler for example. It essentially helps remove redundant processing of files.

Create Log of Files Processed

You can create a log file for record keeping purposes by filling in a proper path and file name. Doing so also fills in the LOG tab (see bottom of the user interface) with all files processed. Make this entry completely empty to disable the creation of a log.
